Opening Welcome
This year's Festival centres on Responsible Strategic Sourcing โ redefining what responsibility means in a rapidly evolving, AI-driven world
It is about being accountable for business growth and reputation, investing in people and skills to thrive alongside AI, and embedding sustainability and ESG into every sourcing decision. As organisations move faster and expect more from their partners, the agenda explores how responsibility and innovation must go hand in hand to shape a more resilient, ethical, and future-ready sourcing ecosystem.

Session
Responsible AIโฆ with More Than Equal
Avenga and the global motorsports initiative More Than Equal partnered to develop FutureLap โ a standardised intelligence platform designed to find and develop the first female Formula 1 World Champion. The system uses AI and data science to objectively track, compare and nurture emerging race talent, removing unconscious bias from motorsport scouting and helping talented women break into the highest tiers of motor racing.
FutureLap aggregates official race results from karting and junior championships, merging this data with psychological profiles and physical testing. Avenga provides the AI, machine learning, and digital product engineering to turn fragmented, early-stage race data into comparable performance intelligence.
Keynote
The Marathon Mindset: Responsible AI for the Long Run
Why responsible AI and technology adoption is a marathon, never a sprint, with lessons from leading technology and product transformation at scale.
Responsible AI adoption is a marathon, not a sprint. This session explores why organisations must build for endurance over hype, deploy AI in ways that genuinely enhance human expertise and accountability, and ensure their people, not just their technology, are ready for what comes next.

AI Adoption Is a Culture Problem, Not a Tooling Problem
A practitioner's view on where AI fits, and where it doesn't, in the future of cross-border sourcing performance.
AI adoption is a culture problem, not a tooling problem. This session looks at why AI stalls at pilot stage, what moves it into repeatable daily practice, and how cultural friction between cross-border teams and AI adoption friction within them compound each other.
